We are currently expanding our team and are seeking a C++ Developer. The ideal candidate will have experience developing C++ on the Windows operating system with emphasis on Virtual Reality, Artificial Intelligence, the Unreal Engine, and Optimization.
This position is in support of the Next Generation Threat System (NGST) program for the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Test Department Simulation Division. The NGST program is a synthetic environment generator used to support training, testing, analysis and research and development. It is used to simulate the complexity of modern warfare to allow better training.
Additional highly desired technical skills include C++ development experience with human factors training and GUI experience developing C++ for the Linux operating system. Highly desired professional skills include excellent communication skills, strong analytical skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented and ability to multi-task.
Required Experience: Minimum of 5 years C++ development experience on the Windows operating system with 2 years of C++ development with emphasis on Artificial Intelligence and Optimization, Virtual Reality, and the Unreal Engine.
Desired Experience: 2 years of C++ development with human factors training and GUI experience. C++ development experience in the Linux operation system.
Required Education: BA/BS degree in Computer Science, or related field. 2 years of additional relevant experience will be considered in lieu of each year of education.
