    Job Summary (2-3 sentences describing job purpose): The role of the district-funded 120-day interventionist is to provide Tier II and/or Tier III literacy interventions targeted to specific areas of need as determined through data-based decision making. The specific instructional model(s) utilized will be aligned with the school’s approach and selected in collaboration with the department of Curriculum and Instruction.

    Job Duty/Resp. 1: Work with at least one group of students per grade level during their Personalized Learning Time, with grade-level PLT blocks staggered throughout the day.
    Job Duty/Resp. 2: Administer FAST progress monitoring assessments.
    Job Duty/Resp. 3: Participate in professional collaboration for data-based decision making, including participation in grade-level data team meetings.
    Job Duty/Resp. 4: Serve on the school-wide assessment team to support the MTSS Universal Screening Process.
    Job Duty/Resp. 5: Continue professional growth and strengthen professional knowledge, skills, and strategies; Attend and participate in required district meetings.

    Education and Experience Requirements
    Education (training/degree): Required minimum: Bachelor’s degree in education or related field

    Licenses, Certifications or Registrations Required: Current Tennessee Teaching License
    Experience: Prior teaching experience required. Background/knowledge in reading/intervention strategies is preferred.
