Mission Statement
The Mission of T.A.C. Inc. is to assist children and families in reuniting whenever possible, providing treatment to assist in rebuilding their lives, provide them with the knowledge, coping skills and the support to become a positive part of their community. T.A.C. Inc. will provide each client with the support and knowledge to succeed once they return home. T.A.C. Inc. also hopes to assist families in obtaining parenting skills to provide the necessary structure and support for their children when they return to the community.

Program Philosophy

Each person is born into society with different circumstances surrounding their lives. Each of us developed coping skills to deal with our problems and with the community that surrounds us. Some adjust to the difficulties that life presents while others have been unsuccessful in handling the problems in their lives. Often those who have a difficult time coping may develop social relationship with negative peer groups in order to feel as if they fit into a group. Due to either inadequate coping skills, or the severity of the problems they face children may require intervention to assist them in learning positive coping skills.

We at T.A.C. Inc. believe that there is hope for these children. This hope comes from the confidence in the treatment that we provide at T.A.C. Inc. and the desire of our staff to make a positive difference in each family's life that we work with. Our programs will provide safety, stability, and support while teaching skills related to successful life adjustment.

T.A.C. Inc. works with clients to assist them in accepting responsibility for their actions and for their treatment. T.A.C. Inc. works with each client to create understanding that if help and improvement is desired then positive change can be achieved.

Staff will provide a program of study and activities so that each resident may develop an understanding of their own problems. Through education, individual/group counseling as needed, and a therapeutic environment, we help to open doors of personal success and effective living to those entrusted to our care.
